More info

Place Dauphine, which owes its name to the son of King Henri IV, is a peaceful place in Paris, where it is good to stroll, read and get away from it all.

Henri IV allows in 1607 his old friend Achille de Harlay, president of the Parliament of Paris, to reunite the three islands of Paris and to build on them a street (in his name!) And a triangular place. It does honor to the Dauphin, the future Louis XIII by naming it Place Dauphine.

It is the second square built in the 17th century after Place Royale, now Place des Vosges. A fresh and fruity note of Bergamot and Juniper Berries, which gently gives way to a romantic and feminine hint of Jasminee and Patchouli, to finish on a woody base of Oud, Ambergris and Musks.

A bewitching fragrance and urban.
